Swoop Reads

Looking for a break in the day? See below for some Swoop Reads... and true to form, some aren't reading at all. They are just shopping. Always just shopping. But also working. And travelling. And not celebrating Halloween, because honestly still haven't figure out what adults are supposed to do about that one. Take a moment and enjoy some fun finds and reading to re-energize your day.

Our last Brand Review was about Eileen Fisher (if you can remember that far back)... and look what fell into my lap this week! Eileen Fisher Renew, the super cool take back and re-purpose program that the company hosts for their customers. It's an amazing opportunity for new and old customers alike!

Don't be mad, but this next on is NYC specific. But, knowing that the next few months are a popular time for visiting, I figured it was worth sharing with even the non-local crew- Maiyet has opened their beautiful NYC space to other ethical brands, creating a collective. One of the brands included? Raven and Lily, whose pants I am proudly sporting today. Stop by and check it out if you can!

I loved this little cheat sheet on thinking about making additions to your wardrobe from summer to fall to winter. Option #2 might as well be considered my shopping golden rule.

Is it just me or is buying pants the worst? I'm stoked for the launch of a bunch of new styles of Reformation Denim. Walk don't run-- their best styles always have a habit of selling out.

While running an errand the other day, I stopped briefly to admire the Theory window (best part of running errands!) They were proudly proclaiming their new Wool for Good program-- the brand's most ethical sourced and produced clothing ever. Combine that with the most kick a** suit in the biz and you have a match made in heaven.
